The visibility is so good that I no longer need to clean the windows!

I put g.moth on all of my windows—front window, rotary windows, side windows and rear window. Visibility used to be poor on rainy days, and I would need to look out of a rotary window or open a window slightly and peer out so that I could check that the vicinity was safe. This film provides good visibility, which makes things less stressful for me. It repels water so well that sometimes I even forget that it's raining. g.moth helps me to stay safe on the water. You can see the effect the moment you try it.
I used to clean my windows all the time, but after putting g.moth film on them, they stay clean for months. It makes things much easier for me.
The effect has lasted for about 3-4 months on average. I plan to keep using g.moth and replace the film regularly, timing it with fishing season.

The good visibility makes things safer

The sonar and other measurement instruments on the upper deck are in glass cases. I put g.moth on both sides of the glass and the reduction of glare on the glass has made it very easy to read the screens.
I also use water repelling film (g.moth) on the windows of the pilothouse. The visibility is good even when the window is sprayed by waves, which makes things safer. It's particularly helpful for those who are sailing at night and at dawn and dusk.
While I was getting the boat cleaned, someone I know in the fishing business raved about g.moth, saying that it was excellent at keeping water off the pilothouse windows. It's easy to replace, so you spend less time cleaning than you do with standard glass windows.

The five reasons why g.moth is ideal for boat windows

1

Good visibility in poor weather

The nano-sized structure has excellent water repellency, providing a clear view even when rain or water droplets hit the window.

2

Clear vision when sailing at night

The ultra-low-glare film prevents glare across the wide field of vision, so that a reflection of the monitors and measurement instruments does not block your view out of the window.

3

Maintains good visibility from acrylic windows that scratch easily

Clouding and small scratches are filled in by the adhesive layer, keeping the window as clear as it was when it was new.

4

Reduces cleaning

g.moth does not get dirty easily, and can usually be cleaned simply by rinsing with fresh water-no scrubbing needed. If the film is replaced regularly, there's no need for time-consuming cleaning of water scale or fish scale residue.

5

Replaceable

A water-activated medium adhesive is used, allowing it to be attached and removed cleanly with no glue residue.
*A weak adhesive is used for the rotary window film.
*If the film is left applied for a long period of time, there may be a case where the adhesive gets solidified resulting in residue.

How to attach g.moth

*This video shows how to attach the medium adhesive type used for standard boat windows.
The low-adhesion type used for rotary windows should not be wetted like this.
